Plant Cells: Onion epidermal cells (wet mount)

Lab session 3- Exercise 3: Quantitative Analysis of Biological Samples

Pipetting techniques: Micropipette

Separation techniques: Centrifugation, Chromatography

Spectrophotometer use, Standard Curve

Students will write a complete lab report in scientific format to be graded

 

Lab session 4- Exercise 4: Identification and Quantification of Organic Molecules

Perform chemical tests to identify of sugar, starch, protein, lipids

Students will write a complete lab report in scientific format to be graded

 

Lab session 5- Exercise 5: Diffusion and Osmosis

Simultaneous osmosis and diffusion

Students will write a complete lab report in scientific format to be graded

 

Lab session 6-Exercise 6: Enzymes: Activity and Effects of Various Factors on Enzyme Activity
